Sad news, I had to put River down last Monday. She was 9, which is old for a ferret, and had started getting the shakes and then had a seizure... that put me over the edge and I knew it was time.

She was a lovebug and I'll miss her. She had a grand and comfy life and I was glad to have a part in it!

River's hammock is at eye level so at first, all I saw was a tangle of limbs and fur! I used my camera so I could see the full effect of her pretzel-ology, tee hee!

She is so damn cute, I can't stand it!

As you can see, River has adjusted to her new surroundings quite well, lol!!!

Sunday!! I'm adopting River from lily_cat, who is moving to California and is unable to bring her with. I promised lily_cat to post pics and video of the shenanigans River is bound to get into (being a ferret and all!).
