Today's challenge is posting at least 3 recs for the fanworks of others. I'm going to try and step away from fic a bit in this one - there's only one fic rec in the list - since there is some lovely artwork that I got to revisit that I originally discovered several years back, along with some more recent discoveries.

- "Lucius Nouveau" - By Donna M. Evans
Donna has some amazing Harry Potter fanart. This one was mod's choice a very long while back, which is how I discovered it. She has some other great Jason Isaacs art, too; you need to see her drawing of him as Captain Hook. Her Legend of Zelda artwork is also worth a look-see :) Just...go check out her portfolio. You'll find something there, I promise.
- John Sheppard #14 - by Crys
This is one of those moments during "The Storm" when one actually fears John Sheppard. Up to this point he's been this happy-go-lucky, washed-up has-been that's been granted a second chance. We have no real notion of his skills, outside of the fact that he seems to be pretty comfortable running missions that don't always involve flying. This particular mid-season two-parter shows us John Sheppard, the black-ops trained Afghanistan vet, and we get to see why he should be respected, if not feared. Crys captured that raw, soulless emotion Sheppard exhibits when he makes the decision that the enemy he is fighting is beyond any sort of mercy.
This is another artist whose gallery you also need to peruse. Crys is amazingly talented.
- Tron Chibi Totem - by humansrsuperior
There really are no words for this artwork. Visit the journal and be amazed at the art. It encompasses many fandoms, but I chose one of my fave Tron: Legacy ones. Incidentally, this is second only to Chibi!Sam cuddling his IdentDisk, which is also found in the entry that contains the totem image.
- Stained Glass Masquerade - by Jag | PG-13 | Teyla/Michael | Word Count Unknown
Before you poke me about yet another SGA rec, this one is special in that it actually deals with an unconventional pairing: Teyla and Michael. Jag is an amazing author, and she portrays both characters with a depth of emotion that cuts the reader to the core; their struggle to define what it is they feel for each other while those closest to Teyla struggle to accept this relationship entangles you. By the end you're clinging desperately to their lives hoping beyond hope that things work out for the better, even though it seems like it will only end in heartache.
