SixTONES talk about exciting things that happened to them recently (main article)

── This month we present you the mischievous SixTONES! The interview is about their "High tension incidents!"
Morimoto Shintaro:
Recently, I have this problem where I want to eat Yakitori very much. Sometime ago, I went with Hirano Sho, Jinguuji Yuuta, and Iwahashi Genki to eat Yakitori before the butai starts. When everyone said "It's very delicious!" my tension went up! After 2 days, I asked them "Don't you want to go eat Yakitori?" and so we went to eat it again. Yup, because you shouldn't eat Yakitori every other day. We all know that LOL. While the adults around us drank bear with their meal, we of course drank tea only LOL. Also, even if you eat till you feel full, it still not gonna cost you 2000yen per person. My all time favourite is Negima! "10 sticks of Shio Negima please!" that's what I order. Yesterday, I went with Jesse and Juri to eat Nabe, but I secretly ordered Negima LOL.
Jesse:
Kamenashi Kazuya was recently a special guest in Johnny's Island. During Tamamori Yuta's solo song rehearsal, I was participating in it while wearing a mask. At that time, Kamenashi-kun asked the staff "Who is that? His dance is amazing", when the staff said "That's Jesse", he replied "Ahhh! Jesse! That's amazing." At that moment, I got sooo excited! But, before I realised it I was losing track of the dance with everyone. Since I was mostly in charge of singing, I didn't have the chance to show my strong dancing. However, I told myself "it's no good at this rate" and from then I continued to practice desperately. The more I practiced, the more I liked dancing. But, I've never been a backdancer in a Senpai's tour before. This year, I want to experience doing that!
Matsumura Hokuto:
This time, we are trying out A.B.C-Z's equipment "5 star" in the butai. When I learned how to use it, I got excited! Before this, I've always wanted to try it, but now that I was able to do so while I'm still a Junior is really an amazing thing. The star in the middle of the ring that's connected to the equipment, rotates holding five people in it; there is a huge difference between watching it and riding it! It's very hard to increase the speed of the ring rotation. I put my whole body weight on it but I still don't get much speed. Once again, I really felt the awesomeness of A.B.C-Z~~ Aren't 2 members of A.B.C-Z going to join us in January? (join Johnny's island). I want to show them our performance... I'm getting excited as it's going to be very splendid. Therefore, if it's OK, I would like them give me some advice privately!
Tanaka Juri:
When I stepped on the scale, I saw that my weight has increased by 6kg, from 51kg to 57kg! Since a 1kg increase is really difficult for me, I was sooo happy! But still, I have not hit the average weight at all LOL. My height is 176cm, so the average weight for me should be about 68kg. Looks like there is still 10 more kgs to go. The reason? From around Kikuchi Fuma's solo concert in the Summer, I've eaten a looot. My friends would ask me "Won't you go out with us to eat dinner" and I immediately reply to them "OK" even though I have already eaten so much for dinner at home. So yeah that's how I've become fat LOL. I was thinking, if I stayed like this.. what should I do if I became 70kg.... I remember I got scared LOL. But right now, during the time of the butai, it's okay because I need strength everyday. In the afternoon, I have been eating donburi from a soba shop, or small udon set, or chinese food etc as I'm trying to eat properly.
Kyomoto Taiga:
The opening day of Johnny's Island was my birthday. The practice for Johnny's Island lasted from the time Shounentachi ended until Elizabeth, and after that the performances started. When I went back home while I'm already exhausted and tired, my mother had prepared a birthday dinner for me. Unusually, my father + our dog = all our family had eaten dinner together at our house. She made us a wonderful menu, matsutake mushroom rice, blowfish sashimi, my favourite nameko, and tofu miso soup, I ordered a cake that she has made for me! That all made me excited! As expected from mom, she knows exactly how to make me excited lol. My members and friends also told me that they have prepared a birthday party for me, but that day I decided to just go home. So, since the year is coming to an end, I accept your kind offers!
Kouchi Yugo:
One recent incident that made me excited, was when I closely saw Johnny's Island's guest Domoto Koichi-kun on stage. Ahh~ It was really amazing! I had the chance to be a backdancer for him only in the last chorus of 1 song, but I was very happy, because I used to think that the day I would be a backdancer for Koichi-kun will never come. Since his teens, he stood on the imperial theatre stage as the leader of the troupe, his meticulous pose, his standing position, it was all flawless.. he does have composure. Although he sang and danced fully to 3 songs, his physical strength, balance power, stamina, vital capacity etc.. all show up when he is practicing, I come to feel that "He is reeeally an amazing person!" Eh, what if I was in the center? I mean in the center of the imperial theatre's stage, my physical condition would get bad LOL. A part of SixTONES is too loose, so we need to fix that lol.

[Something I rely on Kyomoto to do] By Juri:
Regarding our job, it's simply the vocals! In private however, he is my healer. When the 2 of us are in the dressing room, we talk about crazy things, and laugh when we notice Jesse doing something by himself. (Thanks to Kyomoto,) I feel peaceful in the breaks in between stage performances.
[Something I rely on Juri to do] By Shintaro:
I do take part in making decisions, but since everyone trusts Juri, I basically trust him as well. Because I'm the youngest, they sometimes make fun of me lol, so I think Juri should be the one to settle everyone down. He tells me lots of things, so I trust him.
[Something I rely on Shintaro to do] By Hokuto:
I leave things related to the stage up to him, I think he is the right person for that. Whether it's choreography, or positions. If anything happens, I think everyone including me all count on Shintaro. That's the kind of thing I trust Shintaro to do.
[Something I rely on Hokuto to do] By Jesse:
I rely on Hokuto to manage/moderate the MC. When Juri is the moderator, we start talking a lot and the MC get noisy, but then Hokuto puts it back in order smoothly. However, in private, he is the one who relies on me LOL.
[Something I rely on Jesse to do] By Kouchi:
I leave SixTONES up to him. I completely rely on him when it comes to our group matters. The one who says "Let's do it this way" the most is Jesse. I also leave compositions and things like that up to him, because Jesse has crazy ideas that often get accepted.
[Something I rely on Kouchi to do] By Kyomoto:
Because he is the oldest, I go to him if I'm troubled. Since I have a lot of common-sense questions, something like "How do you say this?" or "What should I do in such a situation?" Not only questions about work, but also things I don't know in everyday life, I always go to him.

[Something cool about Kyomoto] By Kouchi:
He can cope with anything very well. For example, if there is a sudden change in the dance or something, he is very quick to memorise it. The first thing that would come to my mind is "I can't do this~" In cases like this, I get very tempered, but Kyomoto unexpectedly deals with it calmly, so that's how I think he is cool.
[Something cool about Kouchi] By Jesse:
He is very enthusiastic about acrobats and things like this, and he challenges himself through them. Even if he is injured, he'd still do it. In Summer Station and last year's Johnny's World, he was injured while he was doing a backflip but then he continued anyways. I think his courage to keep going while being injured is amazing.
[Something cool about Jesse] By Hokuto:
Jesse has the image of someone who lets his emotions out on and on right? He surely lets them out, but honestly I think he is keeping these emotions in. He strongly keeps the things he is enduring to himself. That's why sometimes I think that letting emotions out loudly once in while is just a human-like thing to do. He is a very well-rounded guy.
[Something cool about Hokuto] By Shintaro:
The cool thing about Hokuto is his strength! Once he makes up his mind, he doesn't change it, I think that's cool of him. Also his mentality. Isn't is cool that he makes you smell his feet? (Nagase) Ren and (Abe) Aran make an unpleased face when they smell it. His sadistic sense is strong LOL. (Do-S)
[Something cool about Shintaro] By Juri:
He has many performances in Johnny's Island. While he is good at acrobatics and such, we have about the same number of performances/appearances. By the time our stamina gets low, he is still able to do gymnastics and break dancing so that's amazing!!
[Something cool about Juri] By Kyomoto:
When juniors chat with each other, they fall in trouble with choreographer-san, so Juri is the one who helps them. He will go up to talk with him and resolve it smoothly. When I saw that I thought "What a guy~ He is really well liked~" I cannot do this kind of things because I'm not very good at it lol.
What's something you want to beat the girls at?
Juri: Financial strength!
Jesse: It's impossible now, but I want to be able to win over at cooking!
Hokuto: I want to win over at brightness and innocence
Shintaro: Talk power! I guess it's important for a guy to be able to brighten up the atmosphere and be a mood maker.
Kouchi: The thing that I would feel embarrassed at if I lost is, driving!
Kyomoto: Boldness. I want to be able to protect her even if there was an insect.
If you were able to have one supernatural power only, what would it be?
Shintaro: Ability to get anything I want only if I said "Thank you very much" LOL
Hokuto: Ability to see through anything from far away
Jesse: Ability to turn into anything. Like turn into a table or a cup, I want to know the feelings of things.
Kyomoto: Ability to control people's feelings. It'd be good if I could make people love themselves!
Kouchi: Ability to read people's minds
Juri: Time travel. I often think that, if I could go back in time with the "me" right now, I could have done some things better
Which of the Johnny's members you think "I can't win against him at this"?
Juri: Tsuka-chan, I thought a lot about that, but it seems like it's his ability of speaking with a foundation
Jesse: The feeling that he doesn't know where could the ball be flying from is great! (note: I really didn't understand what he meant) The great ideas he talks about are beyong imagination.
Kouchi: Hirano's natural fitness. I wouldn't win against him.
Shintaro: Hirano's natural side. It's something that nobody has but him.
Kyomoto: Hirano's and Jesse's THE JOHNNY'S potential. They have the power to be chosen at critical moments.
Hokuto: Ueda (Tatsuya)-kun. The way how his old neutral look, and current wild look, both suits him, is really amazing
Note: Morita Myuto picked Jesse for his singing. Watanabe Shota picked Jesse too but for his loud voice, he said Jesse is even louder than Shintaro lol.
