113. can we pretend that airplanes are like shooting stars?
for the next ten months, i will make nancy, lorraine, france my home. i have been waiting for this day since april, and now that my flight (tomorrow) is finally here, i'm filled with so many emotions it's hard to actually pin them all down! i'm a little nervous, a lot excited, and more than a little happy!
i have completely packed, said all my goodbyes, made my rounds, etc. my hair has been done for the flight, i've shaved, my room is clean, and i've checked and double checked my entire existence.
deep, soothing breaths is all i can do right now. i have a feeling i will not be able to get a single ounce of sleep.
