i'll never forget last night...... on top of all the withdrawls, and merritt having a bad day, it was a great night.....
but sitting there in his car, with john lennon singing the lyrics to "imagine" seeping from the speakers, sitting there with john in the backseat looking serious, and jim struggling for an explanation......
when i learned what the purpose of that talk was, my worry about merritt being nervous (i knew she was) moved to the back of my mind. when i learned the purpose, i smiled inside and out.... i'm so happy for him and this brings me so close that i feel like he's my brother. as corny as that sounds its true, i'm proud of him and it doesn't change a damn thing. him and john are my best friends, and that will never change no matter what they tell me.....
