Snow, sleet, rain, cold, wind, frost, *shivers*, cocoa, Nun jokes, pretty shalls, messy rooms, music theory, the joy that is ben holland, the spanish civil war, chai tea, late school days, cancelled rehearsals, weatherchannel.com, the "31 degrees" party in 5th.... that's my day... with commas in between.
When I got home, I had an email on my myspace that was rather lengthy for myspace email.
The person who sent me the following letter didn't want me to say who wrote this...
But in anycase, I feel the need to share it.
Amist all the chaos that is applications and living, it's always good to know someone cares and notices what I do.
"Coty,
I realize that I don't personally know you and you don't personally know me. Yes, I'm only a fish, but I, and anyone for that matter, can see how devoted you are to the Blue and Gold.
I just read your blog about how you cried because the football season was coming to an end and how we (The students) were your family. All I can say is "wow."
You never cease to amaze me with your postive attitude and school spirit. This year, I went to every home game for football. I would have gone to the away games, but I didn't have a ride. I didn't care about our losing record, I just wanted to be there.
On my 1st or 2nd day of AHS, I overheard someone say, "Fuck school spirit." That stunned me because I thought, and still think, that high school is all about the school spirit. Thanks for proving that guy wrong.
Thanks for all you've done this year. In two words, you are "Simply Amazing."

This kid made my day.
