Today is beautiful.
This morning I walked to work through dense fog that smelled like the earth and yesterday's fresh cut grass. By noon it was hot and muggy for the afternoon workout, and by dinner it was still warm and sweet.
While my sociology presentation ranged between terrible and obscenely unpresentable, it is now behind me and I choose to erase it from my memory. At least the parts where I showed "colorful language" in video form to a lot of ultraconservative Christians. gasp!
However, I now find myself in a beautiful position: I have no homework due until Monday next week. It creates all sorts of positive endorphin bubbles everywhere... although I'm pretty sure that means I won't have any motivation to accomplish anything for the next four days. Vive la paresse! Not only that, but my appointment to speak in front of the church elders was delayed, so I don't have to wake up at 5 tomorrow morning. It's just something no one should have to do ever. Unless they are leaving for the airport, in which case it produces adrenaline and excitement. The mere mention of leaving in 29 days is enough to send me into euphoric raptures.
