underworld metamorphosis

Jan 25, 2005 02:13

it seems that i have recently been coping with qlipphotic experiences in my own thoughts and actions, as well as in my encounters with others... so, i'm going to do what i can to transmute these manifestations with divine guidance... but in the meantime, rather than feed into any escalation of the darker cycles, i think that i really need to change my playgrounds and playmates until i can get a better grip myself, since i am the only thing over which i actually have any control... some of you will remember that i had an ex-girlfriend who actually did kill herself and haunted my dreams for the next six years... so, being involved in relationships involving sexual temptation and suicidal threats produces intense pathos in my psyche...

however, my own personal attitude towards death is one of patient acceptance, without intention to hasten that end. since i know for certain that one day i will die, i can only prepare myself for that inevitable time so that my affairs are as complete as i can manage at any given moment... but i'm certainly not going to speed up that ultimate end, if there's anything i can do to help it... i'm going to do whatever i can to enjoy and extend my duration as long as possible (maximixe pleasure, minimize pain, within reason).

` ` If you are feeling suicidal now, please stop long enough to read this. It will only take about five minutes. I do not want to talk you out of your bad feelings. I am not a therapist or other mental health professional - only someone who knows what it is like to be in pain. ' ' - from metanoia

` ` There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide. Deciding whether or not life is worth living is to answer the fundamental question in philosophy. All other questions follow from that. ' ' ~ Albert Camus

` ` (Camus) was killed in an automobile accident in 1960 while riding as a passenger in a car ... Camus had once said he couldn't imagine a death more meaningless than dying in a car accident - a death perhaps ironically appropriate, or perhaps simply tragic, for a writer so keenly aware of the absurdity and meaninglessness of life. and of course, "the right ... to die when and how (one) will(s)." is includued in Liber OZ

further elucidation concerning the master therion's position on euthanasia can be found in a narrative essay called, "Felo De Se," which was originally published in The International XI:8 (New York: August 1917) ...also q.v. Sabazius's "Observations on Liber OZ."
