I've been on Letrozole for just over a week. All things being equal it seems that my hot flashes have decreased in frequency and intensity. I did not sleep well last night so today along with being tired and having a headache, my hot flashes were more frequent. I'm not sure if Letrozole was the cause of my bad night last night. I went to the Cross Cancer Institute today. My oncologist gave me a hug when he came into the examining room. This surprised me, but he seemed to be genuinely happy to see me under positive conditions and was pleased with my health.
