My iMac arrived yesterday and it is pretty slick. I'm glad that I wasn't totally new to the Mac experience or I'd be lost. A lot has changed since I got my MacBook years ago. I am still marvelling at the clarity of the screen and how neat and uncluttered everything is. The wireless Bluetooth mouse is taking some time to adapt to. It's so tiny compared to the Steelseries Sensei wireless mouse I use for gaming on my Alienware laptop. Anyway I'm have fun exploring the iMac and going to bookmarks that I haven't visited in years.
Maggie and I had a great walk this morning. We saw a deer cross the road about 200 yards in front of us after it was spooked by a passing train. I saw it again when we reached the place where she crossed. She was bounding through a field on her way to a wooded area. Shortly after that I saw wild Irises in the ditch along side the road. I thought I had missed them this year as I expected to see them in the spring. I guess my garden isn't the only thing that is slightly delayed this year.
We are finally getting some warmer weather again. I turned the air-conditioner on yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks. I would much rather have the windows open but I dislike the humidity so it the air-conditioner that wins. I will probably open them again after it cools down this evening, although there are thunderstorms in the forecast so maybe not.
I've been spending quite a bit of time in my craft room working on pre-cut card bundles that I've bought. They are designed to introduce people who haven't made cards before to Stamping'Up! but I haven't been holding work shops lately so I thought I would just go ahead and make them up. They are more interesting that I thought they would be and pretty soon I'll have a stash of ready made cards to choose from when time is short.
Hubby should be home shortly so I should start thinking about dinner. Our oldest daughter and I are heading off to a local farmers market after dinner so I wanted to have it nearly ready by the time Hubby gets home.
