mid week
Hubby and I went into the city today. We had lunch at A & W, which is our favorite burger place. Then we dropped off a huge collection of recyclables that we've been accumulating for a while. We don't have trash or recycling pick up on the acreage so we take our recycling to one of several recycling depots every month or so. After that we went to a movie. We saw Blind Side with Sandra Bullock and both of us really enjoyed it. We will be picking it up on DVD soon. It's fun to go to a matinee mid week. I think there were a total of 10 people in the theater. Before going home we stopped at Costco and picked up a few things. The dogs were very glad to see us when we finally got home as we had been out over 5 hours.
This evening we relaxed and watched CSI New York and Criminal Minds; two of my favorite shows.
The weather is still unusually warm for this time of year. There are showers in the forecast tomorrow and I hope we get some. It is so dry this spring. What we really need are a few days of steady rain to thoroughly soak the ground.
This week is going by so fast. Hubby and I have got quite a bit done while he has been home. My sewing room counter/work surface is nearly finished. I have several projects waiting to be started or completed.
My eyes are starting to close so its time to hit the hay.
