creative block

I have my regular stamping class Tuesday evening. For much of Saturday and Sunday I struggled with trying to come up with projects. Lurking in the back of my mind is the need for at least two more swap cards, one for the 19th of Jan and the other for a few days after that.
I've finally sorted out, by trial and error, my way to 3 cards and one 3-D project but it wasn't easy. I have no real ideas for the swap cards yet. In addition to having creative difficulties I'm dealing with a sore arm. My lap top and mouse sit on the built in desk in the dining room but it's not an ideal location as my arm often rests on the desk edge while using the mouse. I'm going to try moving the lap top to my craft room and see it's less painful to use there.
My kitchen looks like who did it and ran seeing that I've been busy trying to be creative. I did get the sheets changed today along with setting up my new Stampin' Up! demo site which goes live some time on the 8th of January. Everything else is falling behind.
Hubby took down the Christmas tree today. By himself! This is no small task as we have LOTS of ornaments. He did this monumental task so that I could do the set up for my web site. My hubby, I think I'll keep him. :o)
Yesterday we went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which we both enjoyed. After that we went out for dinner. Unfortunately when we got home the door knob/lock at the back door of our home chose to go kaput! We were locked out and Teddy was having melt down because he heard us trying to get in and no one came to see him. We couldn't open the front door as we keep the outer door latched and the key fits the inner door. The one window that was slightly open was frozen open only an inch so Hubby ended up breaking the glass window in the door and carefully reaching in to unlock the door from the inside. After cleaning up the glass he covered the hole in the window with plastic and called a lock smith to arrange for a dead bolt to be installed today. This morning he took the door into the local glass place and had the window replaced and picked it and the new door handle/lock set up in the afternoon. He rehung the door and installed the door handle after the lock smith had installed the dead bolt. He was a busy man today.
It's starting to get late and I should go to bed but I want to look for some sort of inspiration for the swap cards.

movies, hubby, stampin' up!
