We brought our motorhome to Madison to have the new fans and covers installed in our roof air conditioners. We got there as early as we could due to T-storms expected today.
The TV antenna replacement arrived today and I drove from the far Northeast side of town to Odana Rd and back so the TV antenna could be installed also. It did rain during the process and the control boards on two of the A/C's got wet and had to be dried out before they would work. Actually one wouldn't work so it was replaced. We were there from 11:15 to 4:30.
Meanwhile, Wayfinders primary care physician phoned to say that after considering the situation it made sense to refer Wayfinder to a blood specialist. So Wayfinder has an appointment with a hematologist next week. I had better practice patience, and not expect any immediate answers. I got a phone call from the sleep study people and I have a screening appointment the end of July. So we will be around for another two months at a minimum. We changed our dentist appointment as the hematologist appointment seemed much more important than a couple of fillings in our teeth.
We are now camping at Lake Farm County Park for a few days while I attend WisCon this weekend. I plan on immersing myself in the experience and being incommunicado for the next 4 days. Unless I decide to take my laptop along. But it is a pain to lug around a bunch of stuff from morning until midnight on the chance that I might want to check my LJ.
