Update
wayfinder38 had to ask to be moved as his roommate in the hospital was disturbed and disturbing. They moved him next door this morning and he spent most of the day dozing with constant interruptions. They took blood several times and he doesn't have a lot to spare. I interviewed another Hospice agency. I am trying to find a fit with what they can do and what we want done. I have Home Health and they will symptom manage the MDS and Hospice would be for the Bladder Cancer pain management and ancillary services such as a nurse every day if needed, 24 hour on call staff, home health aide and volunteers and pain management and meds.
compactspleen is here for a visit and has had to visit his Dad in the hospital. Not what they envisioned for a visit but a doses of how it is for our son. He has been a big help as he was able to take care of some projects around the house. He leaves tomorrow but will be back at Christmas with his family. Daughter and family will be here by the end of the month. I have my sister coordinating the transfer of frequent flyer miles to Laurelei and TrueBane and she will schedule the flight. They will have to stay in a motel as we cannot have a toddler staying here.
I hope I can organize myself enough to delegate chores to the visitors.
