Despite the nasty bike accident I had the other day, I still managed to enjoy the weekend quite a bit. The bike accident was strange -- I tried to stop normally, and suddenly I was flying in all directions. It was kind of on the border of things I would consider going to the emergency room for, since after all I was walking around and not bleeding all over the place, but we did end up going. They didn't really do anything -- just checked me out, cleaned things up, and sent me on my way -- and things seem to be healing alright.
Anyway, my daffodils and tulips are blooming (with more on the way):
There are also lots of exciting tulips blooming around the neighborhood:
And my sunflower seedlings are going nuts -- in a couple more weeks I'll put them out by the street and hope nothing eats it.
We put together the trellises for our Square Foot Gardens. These are installed to allow things like climbing beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers to use less space in the garden. We don't really need them yet, but we were doing other stuff in the garden so we thought we might as well.
I potted the basil and catnip and planted a few things in the garden, like lettuce and green onion.
And I made bagels again, which turned out prettier than last time!
