Before I walked in their shoes )
She stumbled forward, stopping short before the snow. She recoiled underneath the awning, taking hold of one of the golden pigtails on her shoulder, and toying with a strand of her long hair sheepishly. "Usagi-chan, please come out of the snow, you'll get sick dressed like that!"

Ami turned around, facing herself (in a way) and held one of her elbows in her hand while tapping her chin thoughtfully. "If that is the case, would you please be more careful? It would defeat the purpose if you were to have me catch a cold before I could collect all the things needed to treat it."
Ami quickly backed down. "Sorry..." She didn't mean to sound condescending, but--but there were things that needed to be done, and playing in the snow was not one of them.

"Sorry, Ami-chan. I don't want to get you sick!" Even she could see the logic: If she got sick in this body, the body itself would stay sick.

"If you want, Ami-chan."

"You've been here a while. Can you think of anyplace that would have such a thing?"

"We can try, at least. You need some more warm clothes anyway, don't you? I had to give some away; I thought it was best with winter..." And you not here anymore.

She stopped for a moment and took a step back to let Usagi get ahead of her. "Please lead the way."

"Ah but I'll have to try everything on for you!" Usagi gave a quick snicker at the thought. This totally meant fashions Ami would never wear were going on this body. At least to try them out.

Chokingly silent, Ami kept her eyes fastened to the ground in front of her, figuring that as long as the mall stayed out of her field of view, it wouldn't come.

"Maybe we can even find something matching!" This was probably a joke; it'd be near impossible and they were a bit old for that, weren't they?
