Usagi, who'd had a year and a half in Adstringendum already, still gave Ami her arm even though she didn't exactly avoid a longing look back at the snow. With a quick sigh, she hurried to keep up with the other girl's pace.

"Hey, but..." And this was the only reason she'd been this calm so far, "Usually all these things end on their own anyway. We should all go back to normal pretty soon; the week is almost over."

Granted, this wasn't the most comfortable; but it was certainly easier to bear with and wait out the time than some of the others had been. Those, she had fought during.

Ami turned around, facing herself (in a way) and held one of her elbows in her hand while tapping her chin thoughtfully. "If that is the case, would you please be more careful? It would defeat the purpose if you were to have me catch a cold before I could collect all the things needed to treat it."

Ami quickly backed down. "Sorry..." She didn't mean to sound condescending, but--but there were things that needed to be done, and playing in the snow was not one of them.

But relaxing once or twice was important, too! Ami's face looked very strange with Usagi's pout on it.

"Sorry, Ami-chan. I don't want to get you sick!" Even she could see the logic: If she got sick in this body, the body itself would stay sick.

Ami giggled a bit, and shrugged. "We'll play in the snow in a little bit. I don't think it's going anywhere." Articulating her thoughts in Usagi's voice, with Usagi's mouth...somehow it felt as though it wasn't accustomed to speaking with such polite mannerisms.

But... but... the shiny snow, deep enough to play in! Ami's eyes gave it a longing look. Ami's face fell into a wibbly pout. But she dusted herself off, finally, with a small sigh.

"If you want, Ami-chan."

Ami nodded, and looked ahead. "It seems that the hardest ingredients for me to find for cold remedies are the essential oils." She turned to look at her friend with an uncharacteristically serious expression -- for Usagi's face, that is.

"You've been here a while. Can you think of anyplace that would have such a thing?"

"Not unless it might be at the mall somewhere. In a corner or something, where no one found it yet." It wasn't exactly a typical essential, after all. It may have been left there by scavengers - if there had been any there to begin with.

"We can try, at least. You need some more warm clothes anyway, don't you? I had to give some away; I thought it was best with winter..." And you not here anymore.

Ami offered a reassuring smile. "That would work well, too. At least that way we won't go back empty-handed."

She stopped for a moment and took a step back to let Usagi get ahead of her. "Please lead the way."

The mall is one place Usagi could certainly lead the way to; and so she did. Companionably, the currently blue-haired girl slipped her arm through her blond-right-now friend's.

"Ah but I'll have to try everything on for you!" Usagi gave a quick snicker at the thought. This totally meant fashions Ami would never wear were going on this body. At least to try them out.

Ami felt Usagi's cheeks flush at the thought. Not the thought of having Usagi's particular taste in fashion on her body, but the thought that Usagi was going to see her in her underwear.

Chokingly silent, Ami kept her eyes fastened to the ground in front of her, figuring that as long as the mall stayed out of her field of view, it wouldn't come.

Usagi seemed absolutely oblivious to the horrors the mall would present. Instead, she seemed quite happy at the prospect of shopping together. (Ami, you have a perfectly fine body; nothing to be embarrassed about. You change for gym class, don't you?)

"Maybe we can even find something matching!" This was probably a joke; it'd be near impossible and they were a bit old for that, weren't they?

Ami peeped below her breath. "...that won't be necessary..." She hoped that didn't offend Usagi too much, but they already had their school uniforms. Did they really need to match otherwise?

"The important thing is that it'll be warm," Usagi relents; and the fact this was a top priority for her said something about being here.

Ami smiles, looking ahead and nodding. "Yes. We need to stay warm if we're going to make it though this winter." And it was only beginning, too. At this rate, it was going to be relentless.

On the brighter side, it meant plenty of snow, something Tokyo usually didn't see more than a few flurries of. Usagi never felt too dampened by the weather once the temple was ready for it.

"Hey, Ami-chan! We can fool everyone like this. We can just not tell them we're switched!" Yep, still not good at focusing.

The suggestion made Ami's face fall in absolute horror. "B-but why would we do that?!" First off, as a victim of practical jokes in her lifetime, Ami was terrified at the prospect of playing one on those around her. Secondly, there's no way she could imagine fooling people into thinking she was Usagi. She just wasn't friendly enough, or out-going...

"I..." Ami started to wibble. "I could never manage to replicate your sweetness, Usagi-chan..." The act would be up before it even started.
