Summary: Quincy-boy goes to keep Near company on his increasingly-lengthy vigil.
Ishida pocketed his PCD after getting Near's last message and vanished into his room, coming out a moment later with one of the quilts he'd been working on. He'd been slowly turning the various sheets and whatnot into heavier bedding and other items; he had a feeling they'd need them. Where other people had raided for heavier items, he'd grabbed all the fabric-type things he could carry and then some. It helped to be handy with a needle sometimes.
He collected the quilt, pausing before grabbing some bottled water and a little bit in the way of food as well. He didn't know what all Near had with him, and he figured anything he could bring to help would probably be a good idea.
Items collected he headed out the door, making his way through the city to the church. As he pushed the door open he grimaced; wow, he hadn't been kidding when he said it smelled horrible in here. Too bad he hadn't found any of that air-freshening spray...though that was a completely ridiculous and somewhat irreverent thought given the place and the situation. He walked down the aisle to where Near was, reaching out to touch his shoulder lightly.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
