As of the last week, Max has started to communicate more clearly - his first unoffical words - "Ah Dah", which means "All Done" at the end of a meal.  It is so exciting to hear him say it.  He waves his hands above his head (the sign for all done) and says Ah Dah!   There is a good deal of ma ma ma ma and da da da and ba ba ba too, but this is the ( Read more... )

Ok, so I am having trouble posting on a regular basis.  Life is so busy during the day and then I seem to veg out at night...

I started this blog as a way to keep track of Max and his milestones so I am going to try and remember some of them in this posting.  I guess this is mostly for me so I won't forget.

Time flies so fast with Max.  He has done so many things recently.

This morning, he made a hand motion that could distinctly be called "waving hello"!!  I didn't catch it at first, but the 2nd time he did it, I realized that he was making a waving motion, opening and closing his fingers.  I wanted to show Nate, but he was asleep and Max doesn't ( Read more... )

It has been an eventful week for Max.  Not only did he get his first tooth, but he got a second tooth!  His bottom 2 teeth have broken through, and it seems that today he must have been working on a 3rd one.  He was perfectly fine (albeit very drooly) and then all of a sudden he started crying (which he rarely does).  When we gave him a cool gel ( Read more... )

Well, it seems that Max is cutting his first tooth!  I can actually feel it right below the surface of his gums.  He has been SUPER drooly lately, and we knew it was coming, but we didn't know when.  He was really upset earlier today, and we are bracing for a tough night.   I hope he feels better.  It's tough when I can see what is upsetting him ( Read more... )
