Everything is working according to plan. It's nice to have things going right for once in a great while.
I haven't received any further letters and I'm hoping it's because the situations in question have resolved themselves. Dae is doing nicely, constructed and functioning perfectly, giving me enough space to turn more necessary attention to Rena. I couldn't be more grateful for his assistance in dragging me from the stagnant numb I'd sunk into. I might have drifted until comatose and this time Bloodaxe wouldn't have the Doctor to save me.
Bloodaxe, wherever you are, I hope you're alive and taking care of yourself. I'll just have to kick your ass if I find out otherwise.
