My computer is still dead. It's very frustrating. I'm such a net-addict, too, that I practically twitch if I can't check email and get on Firan and talk to people for half a day when I'm at home. Plus I have tons of stuff I need to be doing and I can't really do it right now: Lots of editing for Tenra Bansho Zero and Dresden Files is overdue. ( Read more... )

I upgraded to Firefox 3 last night. Mostly, I want to see if it reduces memory usage. Firefox 2 would grow to as large as 700MB sometimes before I bounced it. Could be bad plug-ins, who knows.

So far, I like. My only issue with it is that they've changed Ctrl-Tab behavior. Ctrl-Tab , Ctrl-Tab used to take you back to the tab you'd started on. Now ( Read more... )

When I built Firan's web pages a few years ago, I built them with a frameset. I wanted some elements on every page and it was the easiest way to do it. I think, at the time, I didn't know PHP, or I might have done things that way ( Read more... )
