I upgraded to Firefox 3 last night. Mostly, I want to see if it reduces memory usage. Firefox 2 would grow to as large as 700MB sometimes before I bounced it. Could be bad plug-ins, who knows.
So far, I like. My only issue with it is that they've changed Ctrl-Tab behavior. Ctrl-Tab , Ctrl-Tab used to take you back to the tab you'd started on. Now to accomplish the same thing, you need to Ctrl-Tab , Ctrl-Shift-Tab . Why change this? Annoying.
I think they changed (lost) the behavior of Ctrl-Backspace in some of the typing windows, too. It should delete the previous word. Annoying.
I'm not quite used to the Awesome Bar yet. It's a bit overwhelming when I know exactly where I want to go (and it's in my history) and I get presented with FIFTEEN AWESOME CHOICES, ALL WITH LINKS AND FORMATTING! Maybe I can't handle the awesome. Turn your music down and get out of my lawn.
