The former tree spirit of Atlas, Manitos is revered and respected by his entire world. However, circumstances beyond his control have forced him to disappear - some say he gave all of his mana to Martel, some say he died, others say he fave up - from the World Tree almost three years ago.
No one knows his current whereabouts, or even if he can be summoned. All people know is, "Martel replaced him, therefore she must be bad."

Arielle Minhas
Age: 16 (appears 12-13)
Hometown: Nahlan
Race: Half-Elf

Mystic Arte (if applicable): Thousand Stars
The daughter of Dr. Minhas, a famous and well-respected doctor in Nahlan, Arielle is well-traveled and worldly for her age. Very enthusiastic and excitable, she's a typical Nahlan kid who finds herself in trouble more often - and often relies on the services of Ad Libitum to keep her alive. (Or you know, as traveling companions.) While she hasn't left Nahlan these days, she used to travel as a kid... and spoke pretty highly of the Black Dream.
These days, she's a student who helps off-worlders in Nahlan. As she puts it, "no one else's really willing to. We're kinda opposed to change down here."
Kadir Hawthorne
Age: 30 (looks 24-26)
Hometown: ??
Race: Human
Weapon of Choice: NONE
Mystic Arte (if applicable): NONE
A tight-lipped man, Kadir has a multiple choice past that changes each time people speak with him. Even though the wise ignore his sad "childhood tales" that're largely impossible to decipher, Kadir's otherwise a friendly and not very honest merchant who made the dying Tyche's Alliance spectacular.
His work for the past two and a half years is remarkable; it turned the guild into one that's highly respected in Atlas. While he can't fight, he takes bodyguards from Ad Libitum from time to time. Also: if you value your money, you wouldn't buy normal items from him. Mostly. Once or twice, he shows up with something so valuable that people wonder if it's all an act.
Timothy Drakensgard
Age: 18
Hometown: Port Merrium
Race: Human
Weapon of Choice: Broadsword
Mystic Arte (if applicable): Precision Blaze
The current governor of Port Merrium, Tim's managed to keep the place running smoothly. Like most citizens, he's very wary of Ad Libitum (he even went so far as to forcibly remove Mao from power!) and acts very racist towards off-worlders. In-game, it's explained that he's one of the more devout followers of Manitou--and completely blames Ad Libitum for his disappearance.
His logic might be whacked, but he thankfully has good fiancial and political sense. Thanks to his knowhow, Port Merrium's bouncing back to life quickly... and things might just look up for Ad Libitum.
