I'm glad to hear you had fun with your friend. A stary sky is so nice too.
Wow did you eat the bugs? What was it like? I don't think I could do that, only with the meal worm as you said it's the tamest as far as eating bugs go. The closest I have come is trying some of the meal worms shells that comes in that bluebird food. They were so dry I was coughing and couldn't really say if they were good or not. Too dusty. But those aren't even really bugs. I keep telling my chickens they're eating bug flavored air.

You should have scanned the doodles at least or taken pics. I think I have a bunch of old notebooks I've been meaning to do that with. I'd have liked to have seen those weapons.

I ate the cricket. I haven't actually tried the others yet. It was crunchy, and it didn't have much flavor compared to the sucker itself. I had sucked down the sucker until the cricket was sticking out, and it kind of flaked off as I licked over it. It even broke when the sucker did after I had sucked it down enough. Then I could crunch it. It had less flavor the boiled silkworm pupae that I tried in Korea.

I have better doodles in the notebook I kept. I don't really want to scan them though. I have a couple others I need to go through too.
