I've been having really crap luck with new beers recently. I've tried both the Monteith Pilsner and the Barossa Valley Bee Sting. The first wasn't as sharp as I generally like my Pilsners and the second was quite impressive in it's mediocrity. I mean, making a honey style wheat beer that has niether honey or citrus tastes in it , in fact seem to taste like a larger, must take some doing.

Both were decidedly uninteresting beers. Also tried Mash Brewery Mex but that being a Mexican Style larger was as expected. Though their marketing blurb failed to meet literacy standards.
