During an online discussion of what's considered worksafe for posting, I was a bit surprised at how many of the young'uns didn't know the definition, or the "line in the sand" that made things not viewer-friendly. Mind you, this is the generation that doesn't even blink at clothes that should only be seen on strippers, lyrics where every third word would be bleeped out, or casual violence on the big screen.
The image in question: a .GIF showing our Bella and Edward from Twilight having sex. Sparkles were covering up the key bits. The young'uns were complaining that since the important parts were censored, it was now a worksafe image.
I put it very simply:
1) Would I want my kids/grandmother to see this?
2) Would I want my boss to see this?
If the answer's no - hell, if you even have to think about it - it's not safe for work.
