Define "worksafe".

During an online discussion of what's considered worksafe for posting, I was a bit surprised at how many of the young'uns didn't know the definition, or the "line in the sand" that made things not viewer-friendly. I wonder if it's because we live in a generation that still had a grasp of life before Facebook, but I think it's pretty surprising too when I see people posting the shit that they do on various social sites. So if they don't really think of what they're showing in those places.. then that's also probably why they think GIFs like the one you described are worksafe? IDK, it's odd.

The GIF's on HiH. It was a while back and made my stomach turn. Good thing I normally don't check LiveJournal at work, because it was tasteless, in my opinion ( ... )
