I'm not going to talk about the real life bullshit here because I've already lost it twice today, so instead I'm going to make a plea:
Rec me fic of characters going through lots of shit and persevering. Stargate (SG-1, SGA), Farscape, Firefly, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Sanctuary, other fandoms you know I like I'm forgetting.
Because, twisted as it may be, watching Sam Carter persevere through the apocalypse might help convince me I can survive fucking grad school.
Please?
And on that note, I'm going to go get on my bike and head home. There may be a stop at the liquor store on the way. And there may be some movie with a lot of explosions on tv later tonight.
