Characters: Cherry and Nathaniel
Challenge: Number 8 ~ Fruit
Cherry looked up at the slowly changing clouds above her. Sighing deeply she closed her eyes, only to feel the sun blocked from her face.
<>Cherry cracked open one eye to see Nathaniel leaning over her.
<>“What ya thinking about?”<>
Painfully everything she had been remembering came back to her. Her mom, her friends, her job… everything that had changed when she became a were.<>
She looked back up at Nathaniel who raised a brow quizzically. A smile broke across her face as she thought of all the people that she loved that she would never have met if she hadn’t become a were.<>
Impulsively Cherry pulled Nathaniel into a hug and immediately he wrapped his arms around her.
“You know what Cherry?” he whispered, “You’ll always be my favorite fruit.”
