Yesterday I went home sick from work. Not sure what cause the profuse vomiting, but I couldn't keep anything down... not even water. The final straw involved projectile vomiting (in the bathroom... but not quite to the toilet) followed by embarrassed, misery induced crying as I cleaned it up myself w/ Lysol & paper towels. After countless (well, perhaps a dozen) cups of coffee and a healthy lunch, I am STILL barely awake. I slept fairly well and even managed to eat a good breakfast this morning.

Someone just set of two M80s consecutively, very close to our house. For the record, M80s are not partial sticks of dynamite, but they have been illegal in all 50 states since the mid-1960s. This morning I commenced the usual routine of alarm.. dismiss.. alarm.. dismiss.. alarm.. grr, fine I'll drag my carcass out of bed and shamble downstairs to brew the elixir of life [aka: coffee].
