What's Been Going On...
Guess I've been fairly silent as of late, though I'll account most of it to being fairly busy.
Over the past couple of months, I've had the pleasure of occasionally inviting people to my place for dinner. I'd say it's been pretty successful overall. It gives me the chance to expand my culinary horizons a bit and socialize at the same time. It's been pretty fun. :)
Plenty of the locals have gotten me back into skiing. I had done it a number of times prior to moving out here, but I've definitely improved a lot in the past few weeks. Part of me wants to try snowboarding again, but not until I buy some protective gear.
Work has been a mixed bag. Areas of advancement from my current position are limited and not really anything I'd want to pursue, so I've been casually looking for other opportunities inside of Lockheed Martin. The only troubling factor here is most of the jobs I care about are out west. And though that's ultimately where I want to go, I find myself getting attached to the mid-Atlantic for a number of reasons. Nonetheless, we'll see where things go...
