Her trip to NCIS had been simultanously wonderful and horrible.  Wonderful because she got to show Lisa her world, got to see all the people she had been missing for so long, but horrible because she had woken up back on the island, although the island wasn't really that horrible, honestly.

The bamboozling of NCIS had been successful.  Lisa had played her role perfectly and Gibbs had suspected nothing from Lisa or Abby.  Tony had gotten a headslap or three for "making eyes at the consultant," and Ziva had accused him of having cats in his belfry at one point (Abby was fairly certain she meant bats), but overall it had gone well.  Tim ( Read more... )

The dinner had been great. Cafe Atlantico actually lived up to its hype and Tony had been at his most suave and charming. He had only been working at NCIS for a little over a year, so Abby was still learning exactly who he was versus who he portrayed, but she liked what she knew so far...of both the facade and the person under it.
