So there's tons to do with my truck before I'm ready to leave. To this end, I decided to create a list, to see if I can create some motivation to get it all done (as time is of the essence). I included a couple of post-dated items just so the big picture is there and the work that's already done reveals itself.
So here's the truck to-do list:
- Buy camper shell for truck (07/23/2015)
- Replace rear truck window with sliding window (07/31/2015)
- Install seal between camper shell and truck bed (08/04/2015)
- Replace window seal on camper shell skylight (08/04/2015)
- Clean fiberglass interior of camper shell with vinegar (08/06/2015)
- Carpet the interior of truck bed (08/08/2015)
- Set up dual battery system with power inverter (08/10/2015)
- Build pallet for twin mattress in truck bed (08/12/2015)
- Build platform for compact 'fridge (08/13/2015)
- Set up curtains and rods for windows (08/15/2015)
- Build some storage for pantry goods (08/15/2015)
- Build counter space for food prep (08/14/2015)
There's other goals I have for later such as adding solar panels and setting up a small sink for drainage, but for now this is plenty enough to make it habitable.
Heck, it may even turn out to be comfortable.
