This past week was my first full week of unemployment. I'm enjoying it greatly. On Monday I went to the endocrinologist for my crazy face flushing and she's having me get this ridiculous number of tests. I can't even begin to imagine how many tubes of blood they're gonna take. One of the tests takes 5.5-6 hours and multiple blood draws, so that pretty much sucks. I'm heading down and doing that Thursday.
Tuesday and Wednesday I worked out at the Y. Last Tuesday I got a drunk text from Matt, which I received when I turned on my phone Tuesday am. So, we met up and had lunch with Teddy. Here's a picture of the two of them:
Thursday and Friday I had orientations for grad school. Thursday we were talked at by important people, given info about tests and stuff we need to take and then we got to see our class schedules. I'm taking 4 classes this summer. One of them involves a literacy field experience. Monday and Wednesday are going to suck. I have school from 8:30-7:45. T/Th I have class from 8:30-2:55 and then on Friday I have only 1 class from 8:15-11:45. All that fun starts on June 22 and goes till August 1st. After going over class schedules and talking with current interns, we were free to walk around to the various school's tables and set up interviews. We had to do at least ten, so I signed up for 11. Friday was all interviews. After interviewing, I asked to be placed at Edgeworth, Falk, Morrow, King or Colfax. My interviews went really well. I felt like people were fairly impressed by me - especially by my experience on JET.
Saturday Teddy and I drove up to Cleveland to go to my Grandma's 80th birthday (the one on my dad's side).
This is my younger sister, me, my older half sister and my younger half-brother:
All of us again with our grandma. Unfortunately, Steph blinked lol:

After the party, we got directions to a mall from my dad and we walked around the mall and played black-light mini-golf. Then we had some dinner at the Olive Garden. After that, we stopped in at a convenience store and bought ONE can of Mike's Harder Cranberry Lemonade since we were in a non-crazy state and some bananas. After that, we went back to our hotel and had our Mike's and some wine and watched parts of Harry Potter one on TV.
BTW, don't go on 279 N between Camp Horne and 79 on the weekends cause it blows. It's down to one lane for some kind of nutty construction.
I also had some random cute pictures of Tigger to post! :D
Tiggy hanging out:
For some reason, Tigger is terrified of this stuffed tiger I have. Here's a cute pic of him standing up, ready to attack:
That's all for now.
