First of all, it's oficial: I'm going back to school this fall! I'll be taking architectural drafting classes (and the other classes that go with them, like stuff on building standards and practices) at Hennepin Technical College. Well, my car isn't quite dead just yet -- my dad got it going again. He replaced the starter, but he machined one edge of it down a bit, so the starter's gear would make better content with the worn-out ring gear on the engine. My uncle from Connecticut was in town this weekend, so on Saturday night (4/21), Grandma decided to take us out for dinner at a really nice restaurant (Kincaid's in Bloomington, MN). People there: Grandma, my uncle, my dad and his girlfriend, me, my brother, and another aunt and uncle who drove up from Blooming Prairie, MN (a pleasant surprise). ( Read more... )
