The good news? I'm full-time again, and that's great. Soon mandatory overtime'll be around the corner and the paycheques will be nice.
But this past week was my last "short" cheque from the shortened hours and it really came at a bad time, where we NEEDED to get groceries, pay the electric bill, and get rent. This leaves me with approximately seven dollars for the next two weeks, plus a bill that will just have to wait for Carl's next paycheque (thank GOD we have alternating pay periods!).
Sometimes it doesn't just feel like I'm robbing Peter to pay Paul -- I feel like I'm blowing Peter to give money to Paul's hitmen so they don't break my fingers.
So, because of the money woes, any plans I did have -- to go to lucentnotion and meteron's housewarming, visit mom, see djzack67 as he spins at Cellblock, etc., are of course nixed, instead giving me a lot of time to try to straighten up and think about how broke I am.
