That's awesome! Are the songs translated into Japanese? *bounces*

Indeed, it's the whole show in Japanese. Defying Gravity's become "自由を求めて", for example, and it's a fairly good translation!

That would make me happy, too. I'd love to hear how they did it sometime.

So where do you go to buy stuff from other countries? I want to order some Region 2 DVDs from the UK, but I don't think amazon.co.uk will ship stuff to me... will they?

They'll ship to anyone, but I know there are certain goods that they WON'T ship (books and audio CDs were okay, but games weren't, at least in the case of Amazon.co.jp). It's worth trying!

Hehehe, I was in Tokyo in 2007, and I'd love to go again, but a.) I doubt I could afford it, and b.) several of the friends I'd visit there don't live there anymore.

(Oh, and c.) Carl says another 13 hour flight'd kill him!!!)

Heheheh, you're in Singapore, right? I wouldn't expect anything Japanese there. Mandarin, sure, but Japanese??

I am in S'pore alright, and Mandarin and its dialects reign supreme here. (any interest there?)

We are, however, swamped by hoards of J-pop and K-pop lovers, and anime is hot stuff here, so loads of Japanese-related stuff flying around. I have a fair collection myself.

And at least we have a pretty large Kinokuniya bookstore here so and that place always keeps me occupied for hours! Huge Japanese book section of course ^_^

Whatever it is, if ya do somehow land in my neck of the woods, let me know!

I'll learn Mandarin eventually -- it'll be a joyous trainwreck when I forget which reading goes with what language. :: laugh :: I'm interested in (almost) any language ^o^

Good Lord, is there anywhere, where there ISN'T a Kinokuniya???
