Time I Want Back, Case#7572
So, I was talking Eurovision the aforementioned friend of mine in Israel who shares my passion. We started talking about various entries (how I admitted -- gasp! -- that I seem to be the only person who didn't find "Love Shine a Light" to be all that fantastic like everyone else), and then we went to the next entry from the UK -- "Where are You?" by Imaani. I started watching the clip again, and I laughed, and explained to my friend, "... you know, her jacket looks just like a Fruit Roll-Up" (and it does, especially if you see how it moves and reflects light and everything).
"... what??"
"... yeah, it looks like a faux grape-flavoured Fruit Roll-Up, and now I want one, damn it."
"... babe, I don't know what a Fruit Roll-Up IS."
... thanks to fucking IMAANI, of all people, I've just spent the last half hour explaining to a man living in Israel what a damned FRUIT ROLLUP is. Thanks, Imaani. I want that half hour back.
