I have just written the last check for my surgeries.

I have written the check and am just waiting to put it out into tomorrow's mail.

Now... I just have to put together all those records for my taxes!

I am recovering very well.  As the swelling in my arm and chest cavity starts going down... the pain does increase some.  I am a large fan of Percocet.  I did however have the doctor renew my perscription, but reduce the dosage.  That is a big step in the right direction for my recovery ( Read more... )

I just got my hospital bill for the clot removal surgery...

I know that is what the hospital sent to the insurance company.

But if this is any indication... As much as I don't want to do the second surgery...

I'm gonna have to.

Monday afternoon I go in to the hospital for my Rib-ectomy or Rib-O-Section.  Whichever you like best.  I will be there till Tuesday.  I probably will be up and around about 1:00am in the morning demanding my underwear and trying to sneak out.  Just so I can get some rest.

The "ClotBuster" didn't go as planned and a different thing had to be used... I think they said it was an "Angio - Jet"  what ever that was.  I am just amazed that they were able to break-up the clot and then suction it out through a teeny tiny hole in my arm just above my elbow.
