Here is what I think is cool The floors from the hallway and the master bedroom transition almost seamlessly.
You can see the crown molding I put up in this picture too.
Hey that is the dresser that gave 13 stitches 5 years ago this week. And you can see Dollie perched at the top of the stairs (her favorite spot).
I only repainted the same color, but used an eggshell and covered up the flat. I like the gray.
