Between heavy dental work and being on midnights it's been awhile since I've posted anything of substance. Suffice to say that having a wisdom tooth with really deep roots pulled ain't no picnic. I really didn't expect the new version of Knoppix to be so much more refined that what I'd used previously - but it is. So far this is something that I could use on a day to day basis. Hurrah for fast internet connections! Only a little over 2 hours to download a 698MB ISO image of Knoppix V5.1.0 live CD. Koppix and Puppy are my main two Linux OS's that I run and both have new versions out today! OK - so Puppy 2.13 is a beta 2 release - a bit more testing and the final should be out in a week or so. One of the things that has kept this week busy has been the need to set my laptop up from scratch. The hard drive was starting to make strange noises so had it replaced with a larger one.
