Some catching up here indeed! Since my last entry in late June things have been a zoo around here. For a start, MCCGSL has moved into our new home in the Soulard District in Saint Louis, Mo. It has been a time of transition here in some respects - mental as well as physical. As if one good shake wasn't enough yesterday we got another pretty substantial aftershock about 10:20 or so in the morning. And very close to being as strong as the first one! We said goodbye to our friend Gina Alpi today. The Memorial service was had at the Forever Oak Hill funeral home in Kirkwood Mo. and was attended by many of Gina's friends from various churches and organizations around the area. I've written about my friend and room mate Gina Alpi before here. After a long series of health problems that culminated in a series of strokes that left her at best seriously handicapped she passed away on Thursday Nov. 8.
