I ran across this in a post on another transgender forum and the implications of this rule are scary indeed. It in effect gives anyone in the medical profession the right to refuse care to anyone based on their moral, ethical, or religious beliefs. For the transgender community this could mean a death sentence in an emergency situation - remember Tyra Hunter?
