I'm not sure that I thought that the Emmys were hugely entertaining last night (I like most of the people in the Emmytones (?) but that was just awful.  Although LL Cool J was a somewhat entertaining addition), but some of the results I found very pleasing.

I was unreasonably pleased about the Emmy nominations today.  It's a good thing none of my staff saw me dancing in my chair in my office.  But FNL got nominated for best drama!  Finally!  And Coach and Mrs. Coach and Melissa McCarthy, all sorts of folks from The Good Wife, and TBBT got multiple nominations too!  Even Cat Deeley got nominated.  All ( Read more... )

Okay, so here's the thing:  I am currently undecided about Emily D's new hair cut.  I did not care for it all that much in the first promo for the season that I saw, but then, I saw pics where it was softer and fuller and not all straight and severe, and I think I like it much better.  But that said, the straight bangs are not my favorite.

I cannot express how happy I am that Coach and Mrs. Coach got nominated for Emmys this year!!!  It is about time!  I'm sad that Zach Gilford didn't get recognized for the good work he did as Matt this season, but after getting ignored for so long, I'm so pleased for FNL!  I have no idea what woke people up, but I will take it ( Read more... )

Well, the Emmys were not all that great, were they.  There were a few moments, but ( Sorry -- quick spoiler. )

But, Dr. Horrible rocks!!  And everyone can know that.  NPH is great in whatever, at this point, and Nathan Fillion is also playing the dumb jock superhero to perfection.  It's just so entertaining!

But I won't get to watch part III Saturday because I will be in the car or at the beach house sans internet.  Which is just wrong.  How will I make it ( Read more... )

1.  How does KB end up in the front row?  Seriously.  Hayden Panetierre is pretty much the damn star of that show, right?  And she's in the 2nd row?  Weird.
