Clark wasn't sure what would happen to them after the facility got shut down. Everything would be fast and kind of a mess, they had to act quickly if they wanted to keep everybody in this place alive.
Clark had always been optimistic, he had always liked to look at the good side of everything. If there was the tiniest, the slightest chance to save somebody he'd run into it full-force. And that's what he was going to do this time, as well. There was no doubt about it.
But the odds John had given them weren't specially good, so they had to keep in mind the least favorable outcome. And if this was to be his last day in this place, he was determined to spend it with his favorite dark-haired girl. Everything else (plans, riots, everything) could wait.
Clark was waiting for her in his room after texting her. Just a little text asking for company, nothing fancy.
