Howard Stark believed on putting a good presentation - be it a stage at the World Expo or in a bunker in England. So he was prepared for when Bucky arrived - the varying weapons he had hammered together in Eddie's forge - the armor - and ...something else. Shimmering through it all was a vein of metal that might look familiar to Barnes, up to and including the wire wrapping the weapons together.
Howard himself was grimacing at his handiwork. It wasn't his best work - put together slapdash and without the kind of staying power he liked in his weaponry. The armor and other essentials were a lot more to his standards -- but then again it didn't take much to build a good breastplate, or a good set of bracers.
The lightening thrower, though, he thought he could have utilized a lot more of Jenny's natural gift - well, one of them anyways - and as for the fire guns ... he was not happy with the power output.
He sighed as he looked at the collection, hands on white coat covered hips, shaking his head a little. Well, it would have to do until he could get a workshop up and running in here. Now all he needed was the Colonel - he meant - Barnes to arrive. He grinned faintly to himself, dark eyes turning towards the door. Yes, he was looking forward to this meeting.
For a few reasons, and his smile turned sharp at the edges. Bright and sharp. He straightened the tie to his suit, tugged on the lapels of his lab coat, and sat himself down to get back to his equations for the power converts in the engine room.
