I tried to find a picture of my dad that I could show but ended up with few choices to pick from. And they were poor resolution pics taken from a distance so taking a picture of THAT (since I don't have a scanner) didn't turn out wonderfully ... but it was the best I could do ( Read more... )

My father passed away quietly this evening surrounded by my mother, brother, sister-in-law and myself. We are having a family only gathering Friday or Saturday with a brief announcement in the paper regarding the passing.
