Instead of hitting the market on Saturday morning, as I usually do, I slept in which meant that Sunday I was out the door at the leisurely hour of 11am (the farmer's market opens at 10am on Sundays) to pick up my lunch. This is what I ended up with.
Market Day Brunch - clockwise from the top: fresh buns, smoked turkey, pastrami, French double creme brie, Morbier with an ash layer in the center and milky ricotta cheese, with some seedless green grapes in the center.
Supper wasn't much more elaborate as I picked up the pre-seasoned meat for the sausages in a 1 1/2 pound bag as well as a few mushrooms for the soup.
Spicy Red Miso Soup - red miso paste, button mushrooms, carved carrot flowers, shrimp, Sriracha sauce and some green onion for garnish.

In Romanian households in the former Yugoslavia, these small sausage rolls (similar to free form kebabs) are called "mititei" ("cevapcici" in other areas of Yugoslavia). In Romania proper, they're called "mici" or little ones. Regardless of what you call them, these juicy garlicy bites are very tasty grilled and served as simply as possible. Washed down with some beer (not pictured) they were even better.
Roast Potato Wedges, Mititei and Caesar Salad
Dessert was ... panna cotta. :)
