Some time ago, I experimented with various uses of a rather pricey can of matcha powder.
Matcha Panna Cotta was one of the recipes I tried but I was unable to share any pictures. Today's post should make up for that lack. Each assortment plate is made out of the 'half recipe' posted above (1/2 cup each whipping cream and milk for a total of 1 cup of liquid). For a simple Vanilla Panna Cotta recipe go
here.
Matcha Panna Cotta - turn out onto a serving plate or serve it straight out of a pretty cup
Vanilla-Raspberry Panna Cotta - fresh raspberries embedded in the panna cotta or served on top as a garnish
Just a brief note about the recipe ... I don't like an overly sweet panna cotta. If after tasting your first batch (especially with the rather tart raspberries inside or the somewhat bitter matcha version) you don't find the panna cotta sweet enough, increase the amount of sugar by 2 tbsp or add 2 tbsp of honey to the milk and cream mixture.
