I appreciate it mel but ill be allright. I feel real bad b/c i dont feel worse about the situation. I knew that it was going to happen so I was prepared for the phone call that I got. He was somewhere in his late 70's and it was lung cancer, I guess thats what happens when you smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day for 30 years. Also, I hadn't really seen the guy but once or twice in the past 9 years so I guess thats another reason why it hasn't hit me all that hard. The person I feel the worst for is his grandson, my cousin Adam. This guy has had more bad things happen to him than anyone else I've ever heard about and now he's lost his grandfather who was more of a father to him than his real father ever was. I've been very lucky in that I haven't lost very many family members, unfortunately I won't be able to say that forever.
I am sorry to hear what has happened Joe. I remember feeling the same way when my grandfather died, also because of his smoking problem. But who is to say what you are supose to feel when you lose a family member.
